New 3 Series... LONG WHEEL BASE

Considering the space "issues" in the back of a 3 series... would you, or wouldn't you?

Extended on length and wheel base by 110mm.

Don't think it is necessary on the new 3 Series - more rear leg room than what the E90 has, which is a bit tight. I would think, if you want more space in a car, rather go for a 5 Series or so...

Yes, it is only for the Chinese market. BMW already produces a long wheel base 5 Series for this market exclusively. The Chinese must be growing taller. :rollsmile:

dont really care about leg room in the back as long as people with legs can fit in when needed...

unless you have the same leg room in the back as the front has it will never be comfortable on a long trip anyway...

I'm not that tall... 1.78m, but I wouldn't mind the extra 10 cm. I mean, even I struggle at the back of a 3.

ive heared that the chinese have stopped the 1 child law due to the big age gap in the labour market. lots of old and young. not many middle aged...

I dont see the need for a lwb 3 series. rather go for a 5.
