New 3 Series... Is this it...??

The design of the interior is nice right but minimalistic is one thing, it just seems it's missing something.
Somehow the whole colour lcd in dash does it for me and most of the Audi's & Merc's come with it. Fair enough merc has gone very plasticky but just has the look that it comes with more gizmos inside.

With the E90 you only got the screen if you ordered the satnav/i-drive or whatever.
My uncle got an A4 2.0T recently and for like 80k less than mine, that interior looks so much better and that in-dash lcd looks the part.

The new 5 series has that driver oriented dash again - not as pronounced, but a step in the right direction compared to the E60.

The interior would be the deciding factor for me, as this is one of the areas the E90 has failed.

Thats the reason why I did not change from my E46 to the E90 :nonono: E90 interior reminds me of an 80's Corolla :fencelook:

I feel sorry for the guys who do not like the E90 as it looks like BMW is never going to please the E36 or E46 lovers again.

The F30 looks a lot like the E90 :thumbs:

It still uses the distinct shark fin antennae also. Saw one on a Jaguar the other day and it looked like a cute "fanny". Would not like one of those on the BM.

Well, it was the same story with the 5 series. The E34, E39 had the classic look (interior/exterior) that the E60 lost a bit. However, it looks like BMW gained it's "BM Mojo" again with the new F10 5 series.

Hence, I think there is hope for the 3 series again ...

NB: The E90 is still a brilliant car - it's a BMW after all. But in my opinion the E46 is still a better BMW.
