New 118i- unleash the power?

So, I met a guy today with a 118i M-Sport. He claims to have run neck in neck with a 130i.

He goes on to tell me that there is the magic button next to the gear lever, and if you put it in Sport+ mode, it changes all sorts on the car, including upping the power to 143kw.

Any truth to this? Lol. As far as I understand, it only sharpens up throttle response.

But I will remain uninformed, perhaps someone can put it to me that it is probable :rollsmile:

I once embarrassed an Audi R8 in my 323i. He was doing 120km/h and I zoomed past him doing 160km/h... And my car did that without a sport button.

These BMW's are vicious machines man!
