Needing power! help

the only criticism that is ever directed at the e30 M3 is that it does not make enough power compared to what we have now...

now the e30 M3 is an awesome car because if the way it feels and the feedback you get from the chassis... you cannot build this into the e46 they are just too different... good suspension will go a long way (not cheap coilovers) but it will not be the same as the steering and other components in the e30 give it the feel...

If you decide to mod this car with power in mind by the end you will be disappointed because someone with a stock 6cyl will still be quicker and they paid a whole lot less for the out the box power than you will for your 'tuned' 4cyl...

If you do this you need to hit 200-250kw minimum to make it worth while look at what it will cost to get there then decide if you want to do this or not...

those motors are finicky with the vanos and valveotronic systems if you want good na power be prepared to spend more money than a turbo build. just sell and get a six cyl car not much more expensive much more power and reliable. plus your car doesn't need to stand for weeks being modded
