Need some help please - Car Audio

My audio system started giving me crap from yesterday :argh:
The head unit stays on but the sound goes on and off. I also don't see the multi disc player on head unit. Its driving me nuts.....
I can select any track or radio station. I also tried all the buttons and they work fine.

I suspect a loose wiring somewhere but have no idea where to look.

Can someone please assist me. Now i got no sound. Checked fuses, cables etc etc....headunit is on, no sound, no cdc as well.

maybe its a speaker wire touching somwhere

Checked the fuses....looks like a loose cable or fibre

I have a similar issue on my radio in the E38 740i, it shows fine on the screen nut no sound.

In my case it seems to be a thermal overheat of the amplifier, I normally go into the boot, remove all power from the amplifier to allow it to reset, then plug all the wires back in again and it works fine again....for a while.
