Hi guys.
I decided to check my 328i's brakes the other day and found out the discs were really worn. I tried to replace them last night but came across a problem. After removing the caliper, i then proceeded to remove the 1 allan key bolt that secures the disc to the hub. It was totally seized! to cut a long story short, the head of the bolt is now rounded:slap:
Any ideas on how i can go about removing this bolt? I need to replce the discs quite urgently
I also came across something that i find abit strange, the two big caliper allan key bolts (The long bolts with the thread at the end only, that secure the caliper to the frame that fits onto the hub) doesnt hold the caliper flush onto the frame. i.e when everything is reassembled and 'sets', you can see a section off these bolts, although the caliper feels secure and the brakes function perfectly, i just want to know if this is normal?
Any advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Guys.
