so last week i find "neat" 04 e46 m3 low mileage etc took the car for test drive, phoned up bmw did a check on the cars history etc even did a enatis check to see how many owners the car had, so on monday i go look at the car again and everything is a ok i tell the salesman im gona take it. so yesterday i take delivery after work at about 6.15pm come back to my workshop and discover that the car has been in a knock and fixed very very quickly like in that morning lots of brackets hanging and cable ties everywhere. I WAS beyond pissed off

cut a long story short i phoned the dealership this morning and wanted the deal cancelled, after goin back and forth with the salesman contacted my attorney, after 10 minutes they said ok the deal is cancelled and they weren't aware of the damage.

car was advertised as accident free, so its fraud for them not to disclose any damage

i didnt know there is a "cooling off" period of 5days to change ur mind even if u signed a "as is/voetoets" document

so i got my car back and my deposit and rode the K@K out of that ///M,
most fun ive ever had returning a item

here's some pics of the handicapped beast i owned for 1 night

Glad you spotted the problem. I don't trust car dealers, most of them clock these cars, especially since the BMWs are so hard-wearing compared to other cars. Hope you find the right one soon.

In the past Natis was up to date with accident history as well,
since they implimented E-Natis that fuction fell away. :dunno:
Next time, call up the local traffic department, and ask them for the accident unit, and have them check the accident history. :thinker:
I know here in Tshwane even the SAPS observed accidents, we get a copy for our records. :thumb:
Only shit thing is if the car was hit inhouse by one of the salesmen, into a tree or curb,
or wall, they won't report it, they will fix it like you just saw with that M... :censored: :cursin:
Good for them you stay so far, cause I would gladly have come and "Skiet die Bliksems!!!"
:pimp:

What was she going for?

Glad you picked it up, but then again, cable ties are only so invisible...

210k the car was definitely knocked inbetween monday and thursday, it was a very hap-hazard job, and the salesman kept on delaying me picking up the car, even threw in a "free" smash and grab tint, really happy i got it sorted it though, so the search continues
