Guys, I have just read the 9 pages and really want to get involved. I have have never met any of you guys or been to a run or meeting so this will be my first and what better way to introduce myself to the gang..:=):

From what I have read we are going to meet at CHOC.

So is the cash deposit the way we going or is it a choice between deposit or bringing your own stuff?

This is really exciting and I love helping out homes and charities - me and my immediate family have a home we visit every Christmas and give them Food, sweets and toys - they so look forward to it and its such a fulfilling experience...:joy:

Ok what I will do. The people that wants to bring, I will post a list. Those that wants to transfer I will keep a separate list. And what ever is not purchased by anyone from the list posted I will get from the transferred funds. Then I know we will get everything we need.

1. Hotdogs (+- 100 dogs and 100 Rolls)
2. Icecream (I was thinking an icecream cake but we might need a few cakes)
3. if anyone knows where I can get paper cups and paper plates at good prices please let me know
4. Cold drinks
5. Sweets
6. Chips

I dont have total amount of boys vs girls and ages yet so please be patient with gifts.

The transferred money coming from you guys I will use on gifts if all the above are ticked off the list.

and there will be hospital staff as well so I think all in all 120 heads

I will make a list and keep it on hand that I can tick off and a week before I will post that list.

I also need someone to sponsor a jumping castle and water slide. I got one for the twins last year that had a jumping side and slide thing in one for about R400
