Though this is not a bad idea, I think we need to postpone the meet until we have some real member numbers behind us. Maybe get a sponsor or two for some entertainment too, but all this is planning that's already in the pipeline... imp:

the Fly fishing forum I am on did something similar to this..

The 1 guy had a farm somewhere, and they all went there, most camped but the ones (read: guys with girlfriends) that didnt wanna camp booked into guest houses B&B's etc in the area.

they had some competitions etc with some prizes sponsored by forum sponsors etc..

This sounds like a great idea

I have always wanted a national meet to meet the other forum members in the other regions, nut yes, it will take some planning and some real dedication from our members. I this does happen, I would not mind having it near a racetrack like Pakisa or a airfield where one can have some fun with the rides and some regional competitions. Sponsership will obviously be very welcome.

I will defnatley be in id this comes through. We just need to fix a date and stick with it.

I have driven Phakisa, it is really an awesome track, and the Welkom Hotel is cheap, so its got my vote as well.
