Trim back on car. Tried to sort out left mirror which is not working. Rebuilt using a spare one as there was a plastic arm that runs on a smalk gear which was broken Replaced but still not working. Will get a mirror that works and have it sprayed. Then left door needs to be adjusted as the trim that runs on top of door touches on fron of door, fender side when open. Feels like this car will still take ages before it will be done. Rims need to be refurbished, and BMW Motorsport set I have not a full set.
Here is a pic taken earlier this week. Will post more later this week...

Latest look. Quite a lot still to be done. But I am taking it slow... Fitted 205/40/16s in front and 205/40/55 at the rear. Definitely not the perfect look. 205/40/50 might be the right size rear and front

I say the bigger tyre looks better. /40 is too small

Rear tyres are touching inner fender when car hits a bump on the road...could also be the shocks. Am trying to get another two 205/45/16s. Don't know if I should try 205/50/16s in front and at the rear...

Correction: Tyres in front are 205/45/16 and rears are 205/55/16. The rears touch when hitting a bump. Waiting yo get my. BBS 15"s back from Magrim repairs and then I'll take time to find the right size tyres....

Car back at sprayshop to fix the "flaws" in sprayjob.
Seat also repaired. Had a cigarette burn. Now all seats need to receive a professional valet..

Toolkit recovered as well as speaker/backboard

A set of Motorsport rims, all Narrows. Set of 5 rims. Now need to find out about the right size tyre for front and rear keeping in mind they are all narrows...

! Wow Wow!!! We'll done Baz!!!

It takes more than money and time to tackle such a mammoth task. It's not even the effort you put in that matters.... It's the PASSION, LOVE, EMOTION AND COMPASSION THAT ONLY TRUE FANATICS POSSESS that makes this project a pleasure when most of us know that its a mission. The dedication shown by Baz to restore this E30 to her glory is seldom seen these days.

This E30 was abused and manhandled and to see what it looks like now, WORLDS APART.
I lived in Windhoek for a while so i know the car and Basil too

Can't wait to see the car when it's finally done.
