It is missing the cold air intake part that leads to right above the kidney grills. Not 100% necessary... Aftermarket intakes dont utilize it

Looks like he got a complete donor car that was possibly written off.

it still looks a bit untidy though

Build was on bimmerpost. He wrecked his e90 335 and then in his words "gave his N55 the chassis it deserves" and obviously with all the Bells and whistles from his e90 hehe. Hence the popped airbag.. left it stitched as a reminder of his ex beloved e90 :=):
