N55 misfire

Hi guys I am new here I have a 2010 335i n55 dct giving me headaches, I bought the car and after a year it had an engine light checked the coils, plugs injectors etc, eventually they did the whole head just to be giving me the same error misfire on cylinder 6, the issue was the valves were damaged and camshaft for the exhaust, we did all that and the cam eccentric shaft vanos units etc please help

It would help if you checked to see what codes the car is throwing .. most misfires are either plugs , coils or either too much or too little fuel .

If you are able . I would start by moving the coil to a different cylinder and the plug to a different cylinder … run the car and see if the issue still persists on that cylinder which could indicate a possible injector issue .

Scan the car and read the codes … that’s should always be the first thing one does .

* by moving the plugs and coils to different cylinder and then running the car. If a new cylinder picks up a misfire it could point out a kak plug or a damaged coil . This will also cost you nothing but some time and running the car to check if the misfire still sticks to one cylinder or not
