N55 - Good open road range

Took a drive down to Durban and back this weekend from Jhb... Great open road range :=): ... Got on average 700km a tank on a steptronic with some enthusiastic driving every now and then...

I've had similar mileage from smaller and much less powerful cars... Any other N55 owners have similar experiences?

Smaller and less powerful cars usually have smaller tanks too. How much did you get per liter??

thats good mileage...

was that 700km until the fuel reserve light came on?... in which case thats actually very good mileage.

the e90s come with a 60L tank.. so thats great mileage on a tank...

Fuel light came on at about 640km... Very happy with open road consumption... In town, consumption isn't as good but still average around 500km on a tank... And considering the power this car delivers, still happy with that!

The 1 series only has a 53 liter tank though.

went to jhb and back this weekend as well but from pmb, 550km from jhb to here and my range was 219km when i got home, touched 270km/h once as well, the N55 is really light on the open road...

Ok my 2 cents.
I get 16.6l/100km in city and it drops below 9l/100km on the open raod with the 1M. The N55 should be more fuel efficient than that.
