N55 DME 2.40.1 Firmware Update

I keep reading on other forums about this firmware update and would like to know if anyone has more information on this or if any N55 car has had a Firmware update done at a dealer in SA?

I asked my dealer about the update and the guy told me he is not aware of any N55 firmware updates. :are-you-for-real-:

Hi, there is an update. I am planning to have mine updated soon as I received a call from BMW with regards to an update on the N55.

Yes, there is one, had it done about 3 weeks back. Didn't really notice much change in the car.

I had mine done and i disagree i think it changed the car significantly... power is smoother and seems easier to drive... but definitely a difference that i noticed! i like it
