(N55) 135i M performance exhaust

Hi guys. My car is in for repairs and I thought it would be a good time to get the performance exhaust. I have read up and Im a bit confused with all the differences that everyone is talking about. From your experience what would you guys recommend? Because i saw something about a y pipe and some other stuff

I had the BMW performance exhaust (its just the back box) fitted to my 135i and oh my god what a difference. I would be lying if I said the difference was in performance. But the sound OH the sound! I found the 135i to be a bit subdued (the 130i is louder) but the performance exhaust makes the car sound like it drives (if that make sense)

As far as I know there no difference, although I did read in some threads on other forums about there possibly being a slight difference in the pipe diameter for the mid pipes, whether or not this is true I am not sure, as for design, pretty sure they are the same.

As you would have seen in my threads the n54 has the two mid cats on the mid pipes unlike the n55. This is the main difference. If you can, opt for the Y pipe to be installed, sounds really good and the drone disappears after some Km's.

I have no idea to what my father has ordered for me, just know its the m performance exhaust, but which way ever im excited. They are installing them tomorrow and the car will be done by friday. Some idiot drove into my car while I was shopping at clear water mall and didnt leave any of his details
