N54 waterpump and thermostat

hey guys,

so the dreaded waterpump failure found its way to my car yesterday. :thumbdo::dunnoanymore:

suggestions on the best place to find replacement parts ?

i have contacted imcomex and goldwagen. just want to know if members that had this same issue know of other places i can try for best prices ?

Did mine by Chris @ CCD 11K they supplied and fitted water-pump, thermostat and coolant, and he gets them the same place BMW does

that's just the thing. there were no signs at all. was still driving, and just got a message saying temp is high, then few seconds after all power was lost with engine overheated message so i pulled over immediately. :thumbdo:

Bought my parts at incomax and and 10 000km later no issues they were cheaper than goldwagen at the time.

Incomex -

Pump - R4999 ex vat
Thermostat - R850 ex vat

Is goldwagen and incomex selling the same brand?

I heard that BMW moved over to a new company on their latest revision water pumps which are said to be stronger.

Just cant remember what manufacturers they were

Highly recommend you look at an aftermarket warranty Bud:thumbs:

It covers quite a large portion of these big ticket items...from my experience

Glad i took the aftermarket warranty, they covered my Voltage Regualtor and Alternator Refurb and now my snails
