N54 vanos issues

Good day fellow fanatics

I got an issue with my E82 135i, it’s been having issues with the half management light, fault code read with Launch was 2A87,3100 and 2AAF, now according to the codes, 2A87, it’s the exhaust vanos mechanism, I have checked for vanos solenoid, also just did the timing chain and even replaced with another exhaust vanos gear from a running motor, the code still comes back on, the code could come up anytime, sometimes on first start up, sometimes after the car gets a bit warm( oil temp around 80/90deg, but without WOT or anything like that)

Could the N54 guru give me some pointers as to where else could the problem be?

I have a few mods on the car, DCI, DP and software via flash.

So you replaced/serviced the exhaust solenoid?

What you done to the vanos cam gear? replaced it?

I have installed new vanos solenoid and installed a vanos gear from another N54 motor that is running without any issues.

I have replaced the vanos non return valve yesterday, the code are still popping up but I could drive it a bit more now, seems like it mainly at WOT, gonna get the Teflon seal next week and do them

Will see how it goes from there

Need some more advise if possible

I have replaced the updated Teflon seals , together with a good condition cam ledge, even tried with 10w60 oil and the code keep coming up

Had it checked on ISTA, seems that the exhuast vanos degree is off on the testing phase, always higher than requested, had anyone had experience in this?

I am so stuck on this vanos code now, can some N54 owners share some more experience and info, will appreciate it
