N54 Stock Turbos

What would the costs be roughly to replace the stock turbos and who does this out of MP.

Assuming both don't pop at the same time, not really sure how they work :flyfun:

Yeah, looking at a 2009 135i with +-47000km.

Guess i'm just being paranoid but just wanted to get an idea of costs, etc.

Any specific warranty you recommend?

Unless your planning on boosting over 18PSI and running a 500+ WHP build the stock snails will be fine. Only heard of Turbo issues when running high boost.

Motorite, SA warranties Hollard has 1 aswell.

Just check the values before you purchase. Some of them don't cover so much for repairs.

Around R22k to replace both turbos.

Each turbo is around R7k with labour at around R7.5k.
Motorite or SA warranties will only cover up to R10k for turbo failure.

Careful of clutch and flywheel though...running loads of torque can eat up the clutch quickly...thats about R23k for replacement and labour...
Aftermarket warranty will only cover approx. R6k for this
