I wish more people would think the same way we NEED Rhd single turbo manifolds to be more avalible here in sa. A
N54 with a big single turbo like a 6466 and port injection with e85 and the right bolt ons can be a 550-600wkw car. Thats super car power!
100%
Our people are still on a cone filter buzz. Till today I don't know where i can go to fit an LSD.
Unfortunately you're not 100%
FnR had 3 single turbo N54's IIRC, there was a black E90 335i, Faslie's 335 that ran at ODI and Leon's Z4 3.5.
BabyM3 also has a single turbo n54 in develpoment.
SAV Speed has a log design manifold similar to that of the Motiv bottom mount kit.
That being said SAV Speed designed his manifold for a single turbo well over ten years ago when, he turbo charged the first e36 M3 in the UK.
The problem is not the manufacturing of the manifold, there is enough people with the skills to do so in SA.
The problem is all the other equipment required to support the single turbo system, which is only available abroad, the manifold is the easy part.
Also all single turbo systems that are available for the N54, are in my opinion, not totally reliable as they are still quite new to the platform as compared to say a Supra system that has decades of trial and error development.
Guys with hybrid twins have also had their share of issues with certain hardware. For me the N54 big big power platform is still in its toddler phase.
