N54-->N55

Sup Gents, any idea when the change was done on our local 3 series, reason im asking.. seen a 2010 model for R449k and was considering upgrading to this.

oh thought you wanted the N55 wont the vin number tell you? get the vin and put it into realoem and see what happens... you could also give it to bmw and see what they say...

I'll get the VIN, its actually at a bmw dealership, but the salesman has no idea which one it is...

doesnt the n55 have one turbo? if so you could try see if it has one tor 2... but the vin will be easier now i guess

in the engine bay, usually on the right hand side shock tower thingy, there will be a tag that has the engine designation.

Open the Drivers door and check the on the side. You will see the engine type and some other stuff
