N54 intake - whats your take?

i made my own DCI, and total cost was around 350 bucks, did some logs and im pretty impressed, not a train smash very easy

and where did you find the 60mm filters, i cant find them anyware?

You guys do realise that as soon as a car starts moving all the hot air gets flushed out. Huge volumes of air come in via the front spoilers, air dams, scoops, behind headlights, etc.

This is true. I once stuck a forehead thermometer where the filters sit and drove hard for a while. Got out and checked and cab didnt even have a fever. :biglol:

I didnt use 60mm, i used 76mm and made my own reducers. Maybe i should sell the reducers.

I subsequently changed the filter to BMC, so depending on the filter the minumum cost is 350, will post a pic soon
