Region Technical Manager cleared the exhaust and approved all work. The turbos were 'adjusted' and the rattling is gone. There was also a waste gate rattle which was also fixed.

Apparently "adjusting the turbo" means tightening a nut on the mental piece that links the two wastegate actuators, this also stops the rattle.

Turbo rattle is one of the common issues on the N54 build due to the mechanical actuator hence the move to electronic one on the N55 135's.

Mine was properly resolved by Fr&R Tuning ( Centurion )

There is no way to "properly resolve" (i.e. permanently) wastegate rattle on the N54 without replacing the entire turbo OR removing and machining out and replacing the old wastegate flap/bearing.

If yours was adjusted, i.e. the actuator tightened to take up some of the slack on the bearing, it is simply a temporary fix and over time the rattle will return as the bearing continues to wear out.
