N54 335i 2010 No Boost when warmed up.

Hi guys

So I bought the carva couple of weeks ago but having a boost issue when the car is warm.

When cold boost normal but as soon as temp goes up I have no boost.

After parking the car to cool down I will have boost again for a couple of minuts.

No errors. Only 30ff if I drive it without boost.

Water temp looks normal at 90°, oil temp does not reach 120°.

Any idea what can be wrong?

Vacuum looks fine. And also thinking if its vacuum or a boost leak it should be a problem hot or cold?

How are you checking the water temp?

Are you not referring to oil temp?

Checking with dianostics. Water and oil temps are normal.

I am thinking maybe stuck wastegate, but why only when hot.

When you remove your engine cover there are two vacuum lines that run passed the oil cooler i think it is. Mine was brittle and broken there.

Thanks for the link. I do have vacuum at all the hoses, but will check with proper gauges and do complete leak test. Hope is something small. Not in the mood to remove turbos.

Damn that is weird! Maybe the wastegate is only getting stuck once its hot and has expanded slightly, but weirds it both wastegates.
So strange it only happens when car warmed up..........
Doubt its your turbo's, hope its a small n54 niggle.

Last night I could check the back wastegate and shaft seems to be closing fine, but could not get to the front one to check.

Ran some logs last night. Not sure what to look for but boost target is normal and boost is flat 0. Pwm is flat on 7500.

Is there any place I can take the car to check except dealers. I am based in the east rand.

So I replaced the vacuum pipes that runs over the motor and also the manifold vacuum pipes, still no boost.

I then bypassed both solenoids and manage to get 4psi boost with target at 12psi.

Could not export the log but will try again tonight.

Could only take a picture for now.
