N00b here-Hello

Hello to all the bmw fanatics, a brief history of my family:
Grandad previously owned an e28 M5, e34 M5, e36 M3 4 door and now drives an e39 540iA.
Father previously owned an e12 M535i with dog-leg 5 speed short ratio box, e30 325i, e36 M3 2 door german spec in dakar yellow- all sold sadly.

Suffice to say I was born with BMW blood

Currently drive a 1995 e36 328i in arctic blue with a few M bits. Has an M3 badge super glued on the back. Previous owner believed it was an M3.
Will have to find some old photos of the old M's and scan them to upload.
Here are pics of my car. On 305000km at the moment.

That's pretty!

You can probably remove the badge without damaging the paint it covers. Use a hair dryer over the badge for a minute or two (safer for your paint than a heat gun.) to soften the glue, then use thin fishing line/thin string/dental floss to 'floss' the badge off. It should come away without taking any paint with. You can clean off the residue and give the car a good detail to erase all traces of the badge.

Eish, if it is super glued, I think the super glue already ruined the paint  - I also removed a fake ///M badge from by car's bootlid in the same spot, fortunately mine was only stuck on with the black double sided tape it came with, but as fake as you can get, even the ///M stripes had vanished from it:
