Hey guys,

So I’ve always wanted a Touring but just never found the right opportunity (my desired balance between timing, condition and price). A month ago I found one in CT and basically bought without viewing. Luckily the gentleman I was dealing with is a standup guy and she ended up being as described. Being a 17 year old car I expected items for attention which I will be sorting in the due course.

Details:

2002 325i Auto
195 000km with FSH
Some nice options such as Xenon, PDC, electric seats, sport suspension, Nav and Sunroof
Sapphire Black on Nature Braun (Brown)

Have her for about 2 weeks now and I absolutely love her to bits. So, so practical. Will be detailing her transformation here.

On to the pics:
Dropped off at Vehicle transport company by previous owner. If anyone needs, TAC (To Anywhere Carriers) were great.

Items planned so far:
Tint
Paint correction
Address fan or pulley whine - sounds a bit supercharged, lol.
18” Style 162s (Ellipsoids)
M Sport bumpers
M Sport II/M3 steering wheel
Chrome blackout
Audio Upgrade

Thanks for reading guys.

Looks stunning man. As versatile as a car could come. Congrats!

Black and white plates really works well with this color.

Welcome to the old man's world.

Black is a most appealing colour for the wagon

Nice car this! Enjoy

Interesting can't say I have seen an Auto shifter in the same wood trim as the rest of the car before..

Nice colour combination (including seats)
Those xenon lights make it look even nicer.

Nice buy, all the best

Good looking e46.

By the background pics, I see that you live in a complex that I used to live in a few years ago. We were probably neighbours - but back then I had an Audi or two.

Thanks for reading guys.

1) You never mentioned the purchase price
2) That car is in such a good ORIGINAL condition, if you are having any thoughts of reselling at a later stage, then "don't" do anything that cannot be UNDONE, a car in that condition, and in original spec as delivered by the factory will fetch way more $$$$ than all the modifiactions you intend to do.

watching Ignition TV, they basically said, that modifications and "aftermarket this and after market that" actually does more harm to the future selling price. due to:
1) it means that somone (possibly unqualified) has cut into, spliced etc into the factory garuanteed harnass and system, paintwork etc
2) The modifications you do, might be totally distatsefull to the next potential buyer

so...make sure that any modifications you do can be UNDONE before reselling

that is of course if you not are considerring reselling at some time in the future. if its gonna be a drive till its dead, or a hand-me-down car, then have fun !

What a beaut man!

I also recently found a lovely e46 touring that I so badly want to get for my damn self.
Case of head against heart. Haha.

Awesome car, many many safe miles and HAPPY modding.

And the wheels are on:smilebounce:

Thanks to Ram3on for being a true gentlemen - bought the Ellipsoids from him only to find them buckled when installing. He had them picked up, straightened at Hi-Tech and brought back to the shop I was doing the fitting. Legend!

Onto some pics.
Tint also done- 20% back window, 35% elsewhere.

Is this the wagon that had an engine Change?

If it is, It was sold a year ago to a chap who then realized that he needed something different?

Lot of work was done on the car........bargain buy

Not sure bud. Yes, was sold about a year ago to guy I bought from. Soon as I fetch Maintainance history from PostNet (which I’m told is extensive) will be able to check.

Thanks guys!
