Thanks guys.....yes the M is my pride and joy.

I took the pics after I washed her yesterday. I gave her a nice long deserved polish and it made such a difference.

Unfortunately the GTI is. It's the every day car.

The M is not cool to drive every day. I tend to nurse it too much, like getting up to oil temp etc.
Once it's ready, it goes like nothing else those M's.....and you can punish them all day long.

shot dudes......took me 1 hour to find a gti, took 6 years to find a good example of an E36 M3

Yes I did, before I did the DP and the stage 2 on the GTI......at that stage the M used to outrun the GTI......usually from 2nd gear onwards.

After the DP and stage 2, the M will only catch it end of 3th or mid 4th gear.....prob due to hardly any lag from the GTI and not forgetting DSG which makes the difference between 2 evely matched cars.

Not to longer ago I had a TLGP with a Golf 6 GTI and the M killed it, from the line and the gaps only grew.
