I was turning right in a gap in the painted island. And as i moved out from the lane to start turning this car shot through the stopped cars turning left from a road joining main road on the left. He was turning right. And we didnt see each other till the last second, I managed to swerve all the way to the far lane on the oncoming traffic and he still hit me because he was going like 40. The whole of his front is fucked. I think both cars are going to be written off. Airbags exploded and apparently a steering wheal is R15k

Haha Jerez, was going to get 18"s i think 19s would be a bit over kill on a 320d I dunno. Thank goodness i didnt do anything to the car, was also waiting for the new year to get it chipped. So atleast i didnt waist too much money on the car.

No one was hurt, both cars were only going about 30 - 40kms so it wasn't too hectic.

Hey boet, if it makes you feel any better, I saw a guy in a brand new 911 cabrio get taken out the same way in Lonehill a few weeks back :fencelook:

That looks terrible! I know the feeling - crashed my 525i some time ago - also got written off but I bought it back and had it repaired.

Surprisingly, it isn't that expensive to repair if you have a good auto body guy who is resourceful and willing to help.

Hope everything works out with the insurance and you are sorted soon.
