My New Ride - M235i

Hi guys,

The name is Shay, and I’m new to the forum. I'd like to share my new ride, and become a part of the community.

I’ve had a number of vehicles over the past few years, my last being a 2015 Ford Focus ST3. I had the vehicle since brand new, and it gave me many happy miles. I decided it was time to upgrade and considering I wanted to do a few mods, I decided not to buy brand new. It came down to either an Audi S3 Sedan, or BMW M235i.

Fast forward, that brings me to my most recent purchase. My first BMW, a 2014 Mineral White BMW M235i with 59k km. The vehicle was completely stock upon purchasing it, about 3 weeks ago. It’s fully spec’d in terms of xenons, sunroof, navigation, connected drive, Harman Kardon etc. The past weekend I had a Strada Performance downpipe installed and she sounds amazing. Loving her to bits so far.

There is a flex on the exhaust, from when I saw underneath the vehicle. Is the downpipe also supposed to have a flex though?

Haha no I'm not. I bought the vehicle from Vereeniging but I'm from Edenvale, Gauteng.
