nice one buddy def a different experience from the e46 can vouch on that but enjoy many happy miles with her bro:thumbs:

maybe it is because it has been 6months since my e46 M left, but I could swear that the e36 drives "better", the turn in is just incredible. maybe it is the 100 and something KG less weight????

I also think the e36 feels alot sharper. The E46 just has a power advantage. But the E36 isnt nearly as hard to drive as alot of people make it out to be.

will you take pics of the install. apparently there are tabs/clips on the inside that need to be broken, which I would dearly like to see

Firstly, Congratulations on the new ride and may you have many happy miles. It sure looks like a gem.

You know that this engine does not require Castrol TWS. It was designed to run on 15W40 oil.

Actually (according to the licence discs that is) the 4dr e36 M3 was something like 30kgs heavier than the e46 M3.

The 2dr e36 is the lightest, flollowed by the e46 M3 and then the more door M3 was the heaviest.
Then along came the sumo wrestler called the e90 M3 which tipped the scales towards e39 M5 weight

yes, and my plan is to revert back to the proper spec

The previous ower was told that the previous owner used TWS, so he also did, then switched to Ravanol(sp) 10W60

Just love those rims... I have been told that they are the exact fit for an iS. Friend of mine drives an M3 2-door like yours in a very very good condition. Will ask him if I can take pics sometime and I will post them.[/align]
