so slotcars dropped the M/// off yesterday :ty:
man it is good to be back in a car that isnt the GF's Spark
went for a nice drive last night. car feels damn nice for a 14year old car. gearbox is still nice and tight. car is pretty close to immaculate outside, and besides the colour, the interior is in great shape, the usual cracking you would except from a car this age. aegean blue is quite nice, quite a difference from all the other white cars I have had....
at the moment, I am satisfied, and I am sure next week I will want to start changing things, and might plastidip the grill this weekend.
the steering wheel is not the nicest feeling thing, especially coming from the OEM E46 one, and then the alcantra covered OEM. It is very hard and smooth, might need to look at a recover, if someone can do an amazing job. The airbag cover is also going "white" from age, not sure what I can do to that, possibly plastidip too???
one thing, what goes through the head of the original guy that orders this car and thinks "yes, champagne interior and wood would be awesome" :biglol:
will take some more photos when it isnt sunset, which considering my photo skills are that of a brick, really hampers them
