hi guys this is my first post so i would like to intodruce myself ...im nick and i live in cape town southern suburbs.

This is the first bmw to my name and im proud of it ...!just purchased a 1994 SA spec ,red mugello rot e36 m3..aand its turbocharged..the car was originally built by precision perfomance by a guy named dean..since then im not sure who was working on the car but it mustve broke somehow..sooo.the owner sold it to another guy (2nd owner since turbocharged)and he said he fixed the motor but he told us he was just running low boost and very little power we must just turn up the boost...before we baught the car we drove in the car and it was boosting and everything seemed fine..so we baught the car.when i drove the car for the first time it was spooling but not really any power..was thinking to myself its just low boost. the 2nd owner told me there is different pistons in and various other internal work which im not to sure about.. the very next day we took it to mace in tokai he put it on the dyno there was a few things wrong like the vanos was not activating and the cam timing or valve timing was out a small oil leak the map that we are running has no efect there is a spittronics management system installed its got t3/t4 turbo on..i felt the shaft on turbo and its still pretty solid..it has bigger injectors its pink im not sure what cc it is im thinking 700 more or less.. we only got 150kw on the dyno that day.mace told me get the timing and vanos sorted out then they will do the vacuums and mapping.so im busy getting the vanos locked and the shims set then back to mace.

Now im wondering if any of you guys recognise the car know any history on it ?please it will b much appreciated.and also any advise you can on why thers no power ..?

thanks alot
kind regaurds nick

APS Centre (021 948 9400) in Stikland, Anton Slabbert has owned a few E36 M3's in the past and raced them, so he knows these cars inside out and he has great workmanship.

Did u checkout that link that I put in my previous post? I believe Idrees built that car, so from what you see on that thread, his workmanship cannot be trusted.

Many makkies can bolt on a turbo to a car, but doing it right, & to an M3 no less...that takes a better than average 'expert'

Check the link before you decide anything. Mace is also good. I know some people that took their cars there & was happy with the service & finished product.
