My new 328

This is my first EVER BMW and im glad to share my experiences with each one of you

If I plug a memory stick in the usb port will i be able to play some music.

Bmw quoted me r1200 for a new cable...eish dudes I dont think I can spend that of bucks on a cable

Yes sure copy any structure of your music onto the flash, the on-board decoder will handle MP3 and WMA files. Try to use a flash under 64GB though, it seems to not like them, I use a 32GB no issues. :coolShake:

Congrats. It's pretty easy to use the USB for music. Just plug it in and choose USB. Works like a charm.

Select external devices

Click on USB

I plugged in 4gb and formatted it (fat32) and it worked.
just an FYI if you format you disk using (NTFS) It does not read it when you plug it in...just an observation

But now I got some tunes in the car....wow the loudspeaker system is nice

Awesome ride you got there. You can buy those cables off eBay for a fraction of the cost or try these guys

Be sure to test the cable first. For some reason they dont work on certain models

HI Guys

I want to give you my impression of the 328 I just bought, Im absolutely loving the car and enjoying myself thoroughly. I only wish I had bought one sooner

Good
- Its very fast and feels really solid on the road.
- Im in love with that 8sp auto box. I cannot tell you how much I enjoy this box compared to the likes of the c200/c180 mercs.
- Stop start is cool ( had it on my polo) but it always was and still is an annoying feature, i just cant get used to it.

Not so good
- Fuel consumption is a little on the heavy side avg is 10.0/lph
