When i pull away the first time in the morning i find that it seems as if the brakes are binding. I can actually feel the car braking although my foot is off the brake pedal. This lasts for about 100 or 150 metres and then i can feel the car is back to normal. Any one who has had this experience with their car, i would like to hear from you. Car has 90k on the odo and has Motorplan till July this year. (I am taking it in tomorrow for dealer to look at the problem but would like to be able to tell him this is a common problem because of this or that) Must say that the first thing i noticed when i got the Motorplan service report when i was still considering buying the car was that the rear brake pads were replaced at 46089 kms and then the front pads at 68565kms and then the rear pads again at 78061kms!! I would very much like to have this problem fixed as soon as possible. Help/info will be much appreciated, thanks.

If i remember correctly andy had a similar problem where the hill hold used to engage for longer than it should. PM him to get more info or he might read this and respond.

Reading this now and I remember that feeling of hatred of when the system doesn't do what it's supposed to.

I changed the pads and it seemed to just go away...

The brakes were not due yet but it was as if the binding wore them out so quickly it became due all of a sudden.

Let motorplan pay bitch!
