My N55 lost its "bark"

Good morning gents I have a slight issue, not really an issue but extremely annoying! :smashScreen:
I have a e82 135I dct , late 2013 build with 40k km (it's high i know lol)
As you x35 owners know and especially dct owners, our cars rev nice and quick at a stand still or downshifting, you know the nice quick revs when you downshift.. now mine is sounding lazy, like it revs up much slower when compared to my mates 6MT N55 and DCT N55 both with exact same setups as my car.. also the pops while driving.. i can't even make my car dp gunshots anymore when previously I could do it anytime I want and still can in my mates DCT.. but funny thing is the car is far from under performing. I still destroy all of them in a race and put down proper numbers on the rollers, logs always looked clean so I am completely lost.. I've changed plugs and coils twice, dp and exhaust gaskets etc. No help..
i just want my gunshots back has anybody had this or know what it could be??

Maybe it's the gearbox software? I don't know just taking a shot in the dark here I'm sure the experienced guys will chirp in soon :coolShake:

I am gonna take a chance here but maybe do it like I did it on my steptronic.

Switch car on, all the lights on but don't start. Plant your right foot all the way to the floor and beyond, count to 10 and then let go and start her up. Take it for a ride and see if she is a bit better, this will indicate the adaptions of the gearbox.

Also note I did this on my E46 330i step:tiptoe:

Yes throttle response adaptations and gearbox adoptions are two separate adaptations

Hahaha my friend keegans M135 makes some proper gunshots!! JB4 and DP Is the answer :rollsmile: you can speak to Twinz or Zaahier from Rennzport regarding these and you'll be well on your way and even better taken care of :cartel:
also adding performance exhaust to the concoction makes it a lot easier!! Basically a popcorn machine raise: :rollsmile:
there is a sweet spot in the rev range you need to find to make it pop though then learn it :=):

Update: Okay so problem found and solved, turns out my valvetronic motor was faulty, had the vvt motor and essentric shaft replaced and everything is 100s again, reason for not knowing is because it doesn't store any warning lights so you just have to hear and feel for it, only the bmw diagnostic tool picks up the vvt fault according my bmw technician who carried out the work . Cars smoother than ever now, no fuel smell on idle, no erratic idle, the lovely throttle response is back and smooth running to speed limiter without any interruptions raise: thanks for reading everyone :ty: i hope this helps save some of you some time as it's a often overlooked issue, so if any of your N55s are behaving slightly odd have them check this because since we found the issue on mine we immediately found it on 3 of my mates 135 coupes and on 2 M135s so it's definitely not a rare thing either.. The cars perform perfectly fine other than the slightly off beat idle and throttle response, there's no lapse in power so you think all is normal until you hook it up, see and replace..
