My first word was car. The first car I was ever in was my Dad's e30 320i. We had the E36 E46 and E90 after that. And we've landed on the E60 5 series. But in 2002 BMW truely stole my heart with the E46 M3. The raw metal sound from its straight six. The way it pushed you into your seat. The precise and involved driving experience you got from driving it was unmatched. Till today there is no car that thrills me more. It really is my dream Beemer and one day I hope to own one.
But hear I am , gratefully, in the M235i. A gift from my Dad and his brother through the blessings and will of the All Mighty.
The search for my new car began last year November. I considered the M135i, E92 335i dct or the M235i. And after searching for about a month the perfect demo M235i popped up in CT at BMW Forsdicks Tygervalley.
Without going to see the car I went with my gut and did the deal. It was delivered here to JHB on the 8th of March and that day was unreal. The drive to the dealership was exciting beyond words and with so many reviews saying it's like a modern day E36 and E46 M3, I couldn't wait to drive my new car home!
It has not disappointed in any way. There really are moments where it takes me back in time to my experiences in the many E46 M3's I've driven.
