happened to my dad, the guy was not paying attention. Filled the whole 75 litre jeep grand cherokee tank up with leaded (back in the day) the garage had to pay for a flat bed to tow the car to the dealers, then had to pay for the tank to be dropped out & flushed, think new fuel filter as well & then they paid for a full tank of diesel :)

Since I bought my E36 ///M3 3.0 I've been running it on Sasol 95 Ulp for 9 months now and have not had any issues.

Umm, I have been filling my e36 m3, with unleaded fuel since forever and I have not had any problems mechanically or performance wise! On the contrary, she's been more than great, for years now!

I had her on the track at Killarney not too long ago and I was going to gooi in some 102, but I decided not to and she performed very well. Ran like a beast, still does!

My husband services and looks after my cars and has never told me to refrain from using unleaded and it never crossed my mind, never did the need arise to change to LRP.

My advice to you, drive it until you can add some LRP and that's that. There's no need to spend money on having someone clean it out for you. She will be back to normal in no time! Unless of coarse in the unlikely event, it aint the fuel, but some droplets of water was pumped through as well at the time which will cause those symptoms! Although petrol stations are now ensuring that their pumps are kept clean from impurities including water from entering your tank as this has been a major problem in the past. Now their pumps run much slower because the petrol is running through a filter first! I KID YOU NOT!

Now, if your motjie made the mistake of filling your diesel car with petrol then, I'd say shoot her! Buut then you wouldnt have been able to get anywhere and then money will be spent big time!
