Latest custom mod was to get those chrome exhaust tips changed. Opted for Hi Heat resistant spray in satin black.

From a visual perspective I think I am now satisfied and may ONLY consider a more aggressive exhaust sound in time to come..

Tips came out pretty sweet (excuse the dirt)

and then although I wanted laminex on the lights I wasnt happy with the rear being fully covered so out came the stanley knife, some perfect masking tape edging and I have white indicator cutouts. I think it gives it a more detailed look ..

So this part weekend we drove down to the KZN coast and had a chance to really drive the tractor. Needless to say the drive was in no way conservative, more so as i rode along with a relative in his s63. The torque on the x is insane and if given the chance im sure ill run fairly strong with the s63:skit:

Overall thou Im pleased to say i averaged 9.6and thats with mostly spirited driving. Running around KZN was superb as it performed even better and oddly enough consumption didnt go over 10.0. Return trip also was spirited and reached back home on 9.8. Loving this monster truck. A few pics

Hi Gents

Been a while since I posted, I am considering replacing the In Dash Screen with a Android touch screen, HD , seen some videos of this being done in the states.

Anyone been brave enough to try this as a DIY or similar ?

Status update 1.

So took the car in for some visual upgrades as noted above. Im quite pleased with the outcome as it now stands out. See pics below

(Blacked out grills, laminex on lights...the cover around the fog could not be wrapped so it will be plasti dipped black)

Thanks for all the comments guys. Appreciated. Took the car for a wash on Friday and only noticed today that the D from the door badge is missing. Im pretty sure it was the high pressure hose from the carwash. Any one has a d badge lying around. Pretty sure they all the same size. Mine had. the X Drive 4.0 d. :blueCry:
