After my first session i was rather worried, the pedal went soft and to the floor...

but then i went to check the timing board and saw that i had done 10 consecutive hot laps:shocked:

so brakes held up well considering:thumbsup:

10 consecutive hot laps around the brake killer Zwartkops is quite good. On my M3 CSL debut, the brakes lasted 3 or 4 laps around Zwartkops. Changing to racing brake fluid (Castrol SRF) solved all problems, so if you have problems down the line, consider that first before buying a BBK.

BBK all the way!

The race fluid will help some in that it wont boil, but the OEM (even CSL) brakes just ARENT up to track time.. the single caliper simply gets way too hot and the pads get too slippery.. you need a BBK to transfer all that hectic braking into heat and throw it out into the air... also vented big arse disks are a must...

Brembo is of course the rolls royce, but I cannot fault my Stoptechs and they are much more affordable (I wont use the word "cheap" however)

Thanks guys,

will investigate that, and some semi-slicks for track days.

Managed a 1'19 on sunday, not bad considering i didnt know the car very well and was taking it easy with DSC on most of the time.

turns out the diff isnt too happy, so its getting changed today under motorplan.
