This Sunday I had Pixie detailed. My good pal Sebs came through to do the detailing, as I was modding his rear lights in exchange for his detailing expertise. Which I think was a kak decision, as he arrived a bit late the detailing continued up until around 1am and I only finished with the taillights around 3am, on a Monday. Never ever will I attempt to do a set of lights again in one single day.
Some before pics, a bit difficult to get the exact extent of the paint deterioration on a white car.
The vehicle was rinsed down, then sprayed with dragon breath (Fcuk the stuff stinks) do de-ironise, then clayed and selective parts were sprayed with APC, and the foam canon was used with carchem shampoo.
Sebs hard at work.
First session was with Menzerna Ultra cut.
2nd Session was with Menzerna Final Finish.
3rd Collonite sealer wax was done.
The outcome is brilliant, there is a 90% improvement of how the car use to look. Unfortunately it looks like the previous owner used a pot scourer to wash the car, as the scratches are really deep, and the only way to get rid of the majority of them is to wet sand it and then polish again. But I am amazed at the results. Big thank you goes out to Sebs for his time and effort.
While all of this was happening, I was busy with his Audi 8L tail lights, you would think the more sets you do the easier it gets, but these buggers gave me uphill. But all and all they turned out great.
