Sorry for posting in your thread but feel I need to correct issue regarding V band clamp. Can't let exhaust shop or tuner take blame for this.
The Aftermarket DP were removed end of March 2015 by exhaust shop. Late Friday afternoon when refitting stock DP the 1 V Band clamp broke. I tried sourcing a replacement with BMW but they had no stock and had to order from warehouse.
As I needed to use my car the weekend I instructed the welder to do temporary fix using flexible piece of clamp. They did advise me that I will be better off with a new clamp. At same time I ordered a replacement part with BMW which only arrived on Monday following week.
I was meant to take car back to have new clamp fitted but completely forgot about it until reading you post. Went to go have a look in garage and found the clamp that was ordered.
Apologies for inconvenience but you are more than welcome to get clamp from me if need be.
