so far im very impressed with the car ,my initial thoughts were that the e90 is a watered down beemer and far from the bmw lineage that im fimiliar with ,
mmm i swallowed that sceptisism and ignorant thoughts on my first drive. haha
in my opinion the car is a huge step from my e46 , my e46 was refined ,tight and did exactly what i wanted ,cornering and handling i really really enjoyed with the comfort of the sporty seats hugging in the bends.
the lack of power in the e46 was not an issue as long as you kept the revs up,as it need to be up in the 3,500 to 5,000 rpm range.
BUT NOW ! i couldnt care less about an e46 ! still a good car tho ,:blowheart:
this e90 is really really well balanced !! ive not done 200km yet so im still learning and getting used to the ride,im sure as time go's it will reveal more of what the car has to offer.
power : hahaha , there is power from 1000rpm in any gear !! really really awesome ,cannot go worng when needing to overtake.
economy : the car read 18.5lt when i drove after delivery ,the trip showed it going to bmw in sandton ,i think ,so im assuming that when they had it checked at bmw this was the last recorderd drive .
on saturday with some spririted driving the car started coming down to 16.5lt and felt alot more responsive .
today the car is down to 13.5lt .im sure with more driving i can get it into the 11.5lt range ,but who cares about that its just so difficult not be on the power pedal all the time .
i find myself overtaking and switching lanes just cause its so much fun :rollsmile:

i need to change this asap , they sort of vibrated over 200km , my ci never did this all the way to 240 km it just got quieter.
there also a soft squealing sound like brakes binding at the back or a wheel bearing ,i will send it to bmw to check ,i also noticed they replaced rear wheel bearings on the car previously ,could be that it wasnt done correctly ?
i really hunted this car down cause the previous owner said he would only upgrade next year ,only to find that he had traded for a 435i , i immediatley called the dealer whilst the truck was still on its way to them and its a good thing i got it before anyone in joburg could ,
i think i will hold onto this one for a while , :ty: e90 335 i ftmfw!!
