I detailed the car this week. Sorry, no before or during pics as I worked on the car, bit by bit, over the last 3 evenings while it was in the garage.

I have a love hate/relationship with black cars. There are times when I curse having a black car and then, there are times like these, where I feel there is simply no substitute for it :inlove:

Enjoy:

A really big thanks to Pravin@CrazyDetailer for the recommendations on what polish and wax to use

Good job. A black car is always satisfying after some elbow grease has been added...

However, you focusing on the wrong part of the car. Those tail-pipes need some love. Finest water paper, water and P11... Come one, you can do it!!

If it makes you do it faster, i did it to my car and it was wonderful. Look in my thread, theres pics of what my stock tail pips looked like.

Beautiful! Something very special about a spotless black car!!! :praise:

Looks really nice - very satisfying results! Not sure if there is anything practical that can be done to neaten up the exhaust pipes...

Tell me a bit about those black line tail lights that you have, aftermarket or OEM?

havent seen your pipes mr arbee, and have seen your car,im sure they look amasing.
but the other option is too spray them black(heat resistant paint) to blend in with the rest of the car.

have always wondered why they made the tailpipe look so dull on the diesels, and why they cant have straight pipes?

I intentionally left the exhaust as is. Don't like shiny silver pipes pointing down - i might spray them gloss black at some point.

Looks awesome! Love the way it meets the crease line that runs along the side of the car!

For the tail pipes, maybe matt black, or for that matter satin black - shiny silver... :yuck:
