My E82 120D

Hey all. New to the forum and decided to open up this thread for my progress on my 2013 E83 120D. Basically as stock as it comes.

Always been a sucker for performance over cosmetics so the first thing I did was wrong up the guys at Rennzsport and got installed an ATM Stage 2 flash, downpipe/decat and tweek performance air filter.

Will post increased results after the dyno day on the 15th (maybe sooner if I get impatient hahaha).

Will post updates soon but for now one or two ‘before’ pics.

How superb is that Tweek Performance Filter?! It’s one of my favourite mods! I am also ATM Tuned but N47S Motor. these cars are an absolute pleasure in this state of tune.

You should be seeing about 170kw from the Dyno and at least 380-400nm.

Twins, what diameter downpipe are you guys running on the N47?

Absolutely loving it. If I hit those numbers I’ll be impressed :praise:

For now though, really enjoying how alive the car feels and the torque is next level :thumbs:

Mike its a 3inch tapering to around 2.6
But you can go much larger on the DP.

Thanks Charles, mine runs a 63mm. I was told 76mm wasn't possible - Learning lots about the difference in the motors here, will be following this thread closely.

Great stuff man, welcome. Starting the journey with the car the right way with that ATM Stage 2 package :bravo:
 
Update time:

So this morning I decided to bite the bullet and took her to the dyno at Dynotech. Place came highly recommended. R200 for the power run.

Now the 120D stock is 130kw and 350nm. Mods currently is the downpipe/decat, tweek performance filter and ATM stage 2.

Dyno results: 155kw and 434nm. Very happy with the results.

Mods still to come:

- Intercooler
- Lowering (coil overs/springs)
- Rims
- Boot spoiler

Also needs a nice proper service done which I’ll get around to soon.
