Also u MUST give it a proper thrashing on the way to the dyno.
Cruising around the whole time makes it less aggressive, I am sure the ecu changes things with cruising my fuel consumption improved and performance decreased, but after thrashing it a bit it goes edgy again.

If you dyno run again get the operator to floor it earlier and that dip will look totally different. Its caused by a Vanos adjustment.




So what you saying is, if floored earlier, the vanos will adjust itself earlier causing that dip to go away?

I'm really excited to see what the power gains will be after the remap because im currently running a dead stock map on my car. :joy:



It will iron part of it out but not completely. The slight dip is a trait of the car but shouldn't be as bad as it looks. Will find out about the x pipe for you as well and what the benefits and where in the rev range they are.

My 1st E46 M made
Stock 186kw
FRC software 190kw

2nd made
Stock 190kw
FRC software 190kw

Praga from FRC spent the whole day on the car and he couldnt gain a single kw. He did however manage to hold the power all the way to 8300RPM.

I have noticed this lol! After a bit sprited driving it does get stronger.

There was 4hp and 4nm difference between the 2 runs. Im sure if there was a 3rd run the figures would have been a tad higher.
