Oh - now add some forced induction to convert it into a stunner with lots of ommph!!!
Thanks Anthony,
Let’s just say that what I paid for mine, I could have bought a really nice e39 M5 or ANY e36 M3 my heart could have desired that was available during my search period.
But like they say – You want it, you pay for it.
The same goes for the e30 325iS. Not that I would ever, but there are people paying e46 M3 money for them and my guess is that a clean and original e34 M5 is also heading that way. The e28 M5 is also there already.
Anyway, I really don’t care that I overcapitalized, since I don’t intend on selling, and considering [driver’s car]value for money, I am happy. That is why I am not locking it away in the garage. It merely made financial sense in the long run to buy one that doesn’t need work opposed to a cheap one that needs tons especially with the eye watering expensive ///M parts. That and the fact that I am too lazy to take on a project like Adi for whom I have great respect tackling such a mammoth task. I will still consider a restoration of such magnatude on an old Ford, but not a motorsport BMW.
That is why I still say hang on to yours except when I, Uber, or the Visser brothers want it :fencelook:
PS - forced induction.....pfffft:biglol:. If i want to go fast, I just ask my dad for the keys of one of his V8s

LOVE IT :inlove:, looks like the 3.8 with the black spliters etc, so happy you decided against painting them body colour like most people
