Hi guys. This will be my first official post on the site, so cut me some slack if i don't do well. I have an "81" e12 528i. it was my first car, I basically got at 17 so i didn't even have a licence when I got. Any way i had the of the typical starter cars, Vw mk1's, tazz etc. Honestly it's just to common and boring. so i opted for this, at the time it was a good idea, now after all the money and work (ongoing), I've come to think otherwise. I may hate it at times (there has been loads of times), but I still really love it. Ok the car was purchased in George from 2 cousins classics. it came with 113 000km's on the clock and was pretty clean. But as time went on I came to notice many things weren't perfect and slowly i'm working on rectifying that.

at this stage all I had done was add a set of 16inch Mahle"s 535 boot and that's basically it

Some current pics. At this stage the whole Engine had been rebuilt, head work done (gas-flowed, cut cam, polished,valves etc). New clutch and flywheel. brake system is completely redone. suspension dropped a tip, will be going lower though. I put a set of e39 540 individual rims, bbs rep spoiler. Afew other small things aswell.

Awesome car.

I remember seeing it for sale on the 2 Cousins website, owning a classic is an experience.

Awesome,just can't get enough of the the old BMW lines,those pointy noses,the aggressive look of four headlights,has presence! Lovely car mate,very nice indeed.

thanks guys.... appreciated. i love the look as well, it's now become a passion and I've learnt quite abit from owning this car and I've made some good friends too. I,ll upload some interior pics soon.
