Awesome looking ride you have there.
By the way, did you have an S3/RS3 sedan a few years ago? - I think I spotted your number plate on that in Midrand...
This oke had:
6 Golf 7Rs
S3 Sedan
M235i
now 2 F38 M3s
And a ton of cars before all these :roflol:
:roflol: some exaggeration right there lol
Plate has been on these cars in the past :
Runx RSI
Tornado Red G5 GTI
Imola Yellow 8P S3
Tornado Red G6 GTI
Rising Blue Golf 6 R
White Audi RS3
Tornado Red G7 GTI
White BMW M135i
Reflex Silver Golf 7R
Glacier White S3 sedan
Black Golf 7R
Red S3 sedan
Oryz White Golf 7R
Red M235i
YMB F80 M3
CQM F80 M3 comp
Is that all! Nice selection of cars there, sheesh! How do the M’s compare to Golf R’s?
Golfs were fun
Ran full bolt-ons (Miltek, DP, Wagner cooler, intake, piping, etc) and JB4 with OZ wheels and suspension, cars were extremely quick and come rain or shine ready to point and shoot. Consumption was horrendous thanks to AWD but safe to say heavier than my M's for the same type of driving.
Also a lot easier to mod a VW since there were way more "Mod friendly" dealers out there so straight from the dealer to full stage 2 in a few days after delivery with confidence. BMW is a bit more difficult and the effort of bringing the car to stock not always worth the risk.
With VW as well a lot more guys running mods so the second-hand market is a lot more active than on the BMW side.
Loved the F80 from day 1 the rear arches just did it for me and still do to this day, running full M Perf kit and exhaust but really thinking its time to do an equal length mid-pipe and probably wait awhile then crank hub upgrade and full bolt-ons + bm3. But first some cosmetics really want a set of HRE wheels prices are crazy but will see how it goes.
Not really keen on the G80 for now but who knows what the future hold
