My car won't start

Mine gave out last week. Willards battery is R1100 to R1250, so I went to BMW Leo Haese in Hatfield, I know Julius at the parts department, and he gave me the original bmw battery 70amp for R1350, with a 2 year warantee

True.
Mine was still the original one from 2003 when the car was built, and since 2007 I was running a 1400w amp and 1400w sub from it as well.

That's not bad going! Usually around 5 years if one is lucky!

Dying battery most likely culprit . Take it out and give it a charge for a few hours , put it back and see if the car starts .
Size ? 652 or 668 ?

Should be about RIk from battery centre , check also if you can get Varta (German Oem ) , has 2 year guarantee as well .

Hi. Thx for the help guys. Using a deltec battery. Hard to kill it. Took about half an hour to boost! Not sure what killed it. Amps are not on.

When the battery is on its way out is still has volts , but not amps . Eight torch batteries in series will give ( 8 * 1.5 ) 12 volts , but the amps will be say 0.2 or so .
How is your battery water level , if one cell has a water level below the plates it will soon die , the dead cell is now like a short circuit and soon causes battery failure .
How old is the Deltec battery ?

Have eh battery tested. My E30's battery lasted only 4.5 years.

How is your battery water level , if one cell has a water level below the plates it will soon die , the dead cell is now like a short circuit and soon causes battery failure .

If its not the battery, it could be a sticky starter as you said there's a clicking sound. My money is on the battery though.

must have been battery. windows moved real slow to open and close.
