So I went and bought a set of Bilstein Lower control arm bushes at Goldwagen for R795 for the set.

Frikkieh says he will help me tonight after work to get them fitted.

I've been driving with the problem for a while, and when i fitted new tyres 2 months ago, they told me they cant do the allignment because when they tightened the wheelnuts the wheels moved .

I hope that this is all, and that I dont have to replace the control arms as well, because the balljoints in them are also damamged, so holding thumbs its just the LCAB's :thumb:

Cant make it, going to Harties for the weekend with my mom and family, to go see my sisters daughter horse-jumping. :argh:

Getting back to the LCAB's...
Me and Frikkieh took all but 40 minutes to fit both, and the left one was TOTALLY disintegrated!! :bangdesk:
So tomorrow its off to go check the wheel allignment. :thumb:
Car already handles WAY better.

THanks for the help Frikkie.

So I took the car in for wheel allignment today, the guy had it on the machine and called me under the car...

So somewhere in my steering rack there is a rattle... I will now have to take the car in next week, to have the exact problem identified. :argh:

... at least my LCAB's are fixed, and my wheel allignment was spot on, so they didn't even have to set anything. :joy:

Henry, I am first going to let Jacques have a look and see, then I will decide.
Jacques has always given me good prices and great workmanship, maybe because I wear my firearm when I take my car in... :dunno:
