just wanted to post a couple of updates on the "overhaul" of my 333i.... Was started a while ago, almost done in fact.....
Car didnt really need it, but was decided upon anyway... after almost a year out of action:fencelook:(due to some heating problems).... clutch needed to be changed (was slipping)...radiator( was a little old and worn down).... so after stripping much of the front of the car....stripped the rest too...

the previous owner had the car parked in a garage for some time...had carpets etc on the car so there were a few scratches

So this is what it was like

And next thing i knew was....:fencelook:

and then...

And after much hassle about getting the Henna Red paint..
Last Sunday, she rolled out the paint shop:

started re-assembling immediately

Apologies for some of the low quality pics... will keep this thread updated:thumbs:

Wow! Work like this just amazes me! I can't wait to see it completed! :praise:

I get nervous just looking at how much was stripped! Getting the bumpers, bonnet etc. aligned again leaves me cold!

This kind of quality work must have cost you a fortune! Looking great so far!

This is a collectors car and its value is in rarity ( 194 made here ) and originality . Keep it clean and standard , its part of BMW SA heritage - not that it means too much to them though -it means more to us fanatics .
